Director of the Center of Chemical and Biological Analysis and Calibration
Dr. Yaseen Qawasmi is an Assistant Professor of Physical Chemistry and the Director of the Center of Chemical and Biological Analysis and Calibration (CCBAC) at Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU). Beyond his role in leading the center, he teaches in the Applied Chemistry program, where he finds great joy in inspiring students and nurturing their curiosity for science. Driven by a deep passion for chemistry and innovation, his work focuses on developing new and practical chemical analysis methods for cosmetics, food products, and pharmaceuticals, using advanced techniques such as chromatography and ICP. Over the years, Dr. Qawasmi has participated in numerous international conferences and collaborative projects focused on advancing analytical science, exploring nanoporous materials and colloidal systems, and promoting a culture of scientific excellence.
